It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Walker (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James D Walker (JD); her parents, Joseph Mitchell and Olga Mitchell; her brother Gordon "Corky" Mitchell; her aunts and uncles, Lillian Pallick (Peter), Helen Sagal (Joseph), Anne Holyk (Michael), Michael (Anne) and Carl Tenoski; her brother-in-law Alvin Smith; and her cousins, Sandra Manko and Bernice Lanouette (Marion Caister).
She is survived by: her son Mitchell Walker (Glory); her siblings, Eleanor Smith and Joseph Mitchell (Agnes); her sister-in-law Patricia Murrin (Mike Conant); her nieces and nephews, Shelley Mitchell (Richard Muller), Donna Yanke (Rob), Brent and Scott Mitchell (Krista); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Erika Mitchell, Hayley Gentry, Tyler, Brendan, Michael, Luke Mitchell and Derek Yanke; her granddaughter Mandy Sharkey (Peter); her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Zoe Lavallee; her cousins, Margaret Ceretti, Janet Gurke, Joan Payment, Sharon Barnett and Leonard Holyk; and her close friends, Audrey MacNeal, Vera Drabot, Anne Curtis, Allison Sandney, Patty Hryciuk and Kathy Lilley.
