She was predeceased by: her brother David Balch (Shirley); her siblings-in-law, Ken Gemmell (Joan) and Audrea Hourie (Jim); her grandson Keenan Gemmell; her parents, James Balch and Frances Sharp; and her stepfather Stanley Sharp of Portage.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Gemmell of Portage; her children, Rob Gemmell (Anita) of Portage and Loralee Orr (Brad) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Trace, Zoe Gemmell, Liam and Callum Orr; and her sister-in-law Peggy Moon (Ted). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6).
