She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carson and Elizabeth Carson; her husband Thorstein Johanson (Steine); and her brothers, William (Leona), Robert (Margaret) and Ernest (Nellie).
She is survived by: her children, Judy and Murray (Linda); her grandson Trevor (Jenneth); her great grandchildren, Wyndham, William and Rebekah; her granddaughter Haylee; her great grandchildren, Logan and Rosemary; and her sister-in-law Lois Johanson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
