It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Elaine (Smith) Wright (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Smith and Sarah Smith; her brothers, Grant and Gayle Smith; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Wright and George Otsuji.

She is survived by: her husband Alan Wright; her daughter Amanda Wright (Bartosz Rucinski); her grandson Jakub Rucinski; her sisters, Winona Otsuji and Debbie Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Smith, Susanne Wright, Jeanie Affleck (Deric), John Wright (Charlene) and Paul Wright. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, one great grandnephew, and many dear friends.
