He was predeceased by: his son Anthony; his parents, Mary Peters (Starr) and Tony Nelson; and his brothers, Clarence and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Selma; his children, Andrea, Jessica, Nathan, Jason and Leon; and his sisters, Leona Peters and Grace Lavallee. He is also survived by many grandchildren and one great grandson.
