He was predeceased by: his daughter Mia; his parents, Lena Meeches and David McKinney; and his siblings, Kimball, Sharon and Darren.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kerry (Peggy), Daryl, Freida, Brenda (Ken), Sandra (Loreen), Arlene, Randal and Sherry (Dean); his stepfather Cecil Paul; and his grandsons, Mackenley and Juaquin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
