She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Crandell and Earl Crandell; and her stepfather Howard Buchanan. She is survived by: her spouse Cy Painter; her children, Debbie (Orvel) and Dan (Lorne); and her grandson Brandon.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a memorial service will take place at a later date with interment at Evergreen Memorial Garden Columbarium.
