He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve and Marie; and his brothers, Larry and Mike. He is survived by: his wife Loralie; his children, Michael, Mark (Julie) and Kaylynn (Garth); his grandchildren, Kelsy and Jade; his siblings, Tim (Leah), Theresa (Gerald), Margaret and Liz; his sister-in-law Eileen; his parents-in-law, Jack and Clem; and his sister-in-law Dawn (Kapil). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
