We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2024, at the age of 97, Isabel Mary Cowie Matthews (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Edward Matthews (Ted); her granddaughter Amanda Matthews; her parents, Harry Bennett and Bella Bennett; and her siblings, Ruben, Henry, Joey Bennett and Victoria Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Scott Matthews (Ursula) and Pam (Bill); and her grandchildren, John Matthews, Daniel Matthews (Rayanne), Alicia Matthews, Janette Nelson (Bryce) and Victoria. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
