He is survived by: his wife Aberdeen Pelletier; his parents, Robert Merrick and Melanie Merrick; his siblings, Brenden Merrick (Shanaeha), Ashley Houle (Bernie), Noah Merrick and Chase Merrick; his extended family, Cody Courchene, David Abraham (Badger), Shirley Herman, Merrick "Kooks", Peter and Sheila YellowQuill; and his uncle Joshua YellowQuill. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
