He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Ireland (Bim); his sons, Michael and Miles; his siblings, Vernon, Gary, Bob, Phoebe, Dorothy, Caroline and June; and his parents, Willard Ireland and Agnes Ireland of Pleasant Valley.

He is survived by: his children, Joanne and Mark; his grandchildren, Mathew, Eric, Cody and Megan; his great grandchildren, Aislinn and Nixon; and his sister Frances.
