He was predeceased by: his father Wendell Barrett. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Matheson (Scott) of Brandon, Manitoba and Gavin Barrett (Mishai Swain) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; his grandchildren, Anna and Jake Matheson; his mother Winona Barrett; and his sisters, Marlene Lawrence (Darryl) and Carlene Carvell (Hal). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
