She was predeceased by: her close friend Barry Lauttamus; her parents, Matthew Kirkness and Flora Kirkness (Bouchey); her siblings, Ellen Ruth, Matthew Wilson (Harlene), Andrew, Joe Edwin and Freda Marie; her siblings-in-law, Irene Kirkness and Ossie Thomas; her parents-in-law, Rufus Prince and Doreen Prince; and her siblings-in-law, Steve, Dennis Prince and Jean Prince.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Smoke (Derek); her grandchildren, Justyce (Reagan) and Darius; her son Jason Prince (Amy); her grandchildren, Aaron (Shicara), Tyler, Kennedy (Vernon), McKenleigh, Peyton, Tiana, Jacoby and Jayden; her son Justin Prince (Chantal); her grandchildren, Callista, Christian, Alicia, Greyson and Summer; her pet Marty; her siblings, Leonard, Frank, Freddy (Flora), Gordon Kirkness, Freda Thomas and Debra Rose (Mike); her siblings-in-law, Beatrice Kirkness, Doug, Larry (Liz), Peter (Tara), George, Shane, Kyle (Brooke), Donna, Brenda Prince, Betty Jean Traverse, Leona, Sandy, Yvette, Yvonne, Stephanie, Marge Prince and Gord Middleton (Sharon); her grandchildren, Angel Smoke, Lauren Prince and Jace; her great grandchild Colby; her friends, Alice Thomas, Karen Myran, Olive Stevenson, Frances Hart, Donna Prince, Leona Myran, Melanie Choken, Myrtle Thompson, Dar Roy, Alfred Sutherland, Pam Boulanger, Robin Meeches, Dennis Peters and Doug Douglas; and her godson Matthew Rose. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Road South, Portage la Prairie, Manitoba and in compliance to the Manitoba Covid restrictions. Due to the Covid restrictions a private family funeral will be held on Monday, January 11th, 2021 at the Omega Funeral Home.
