He was predeceased by: his parents, Norm Halmarson and Eva Halmarson; his in-laws, George and Joan Mann; and his brother-in-law Chris Mann.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his brothers, Don (Marjorie) and Jim (Cindy); his nieces and nephews, Tanis, Chantelle, Sarah and Danny; and also, Lynda (Roger) and Bob (Karen).
