He was predeceased by: his father Klaas "Nick"; and his grandparents, John, Katherine Giesbrecht, James and Dorothy Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Abby and Ryan; the mother of his children Tonya; his mother Agnes; his siblings, Debra and Ron of Winnipeg; his aunt Sharon; and his nieces and nephews, Portage and Prairie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.
