It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Irene Nelson (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Nelson; her daughter Edith; her parents, Cecil Freed and Janet Freed; and her sister Violet.
She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Cook; her sons, Henry (Lynda), George (Lorraine), Dave (Norma) and John Kowerchuk (Liane); and her brother Ben. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Although covid restrictions have been lifted, it would be greatly appreciated if the public were to continue to wear masks as per the family's request.
