He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Roy and Myrtle Roy; his siblings, Jean Archer, Lorraine Dark and Lorne Roy; his nephews, Blair and Sidney Roy; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Garrioch, Jim Wright, Wayne Archer and Allison Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Allene Roy; his daughter Carolyn Peters (Bill); his grandson Tyson (Megan); his great grandchild Briar; his son Geoff Roy (Heather); his grandchildren, Daylon, Jared and Charlize; his great grandchild Cody Roy (Jennifer); his brothers, Bill (Bev) and Rick Roy (Agnes); his siblings-in-law, Helen Flamand (Walter), Edie Garrioch, Shirley Rapmund, Jenny Roy, Bernie Wright and Ian Dark (Lynne); and also, Brennan and Kai. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
