She was predeceased by: her parents, Melissa Gardiner and Lorne Gardiner (Albert); and her siblings, Gertrude, Irene, Janet, Amos, Howard and Beatrice.
She is survived by: her significant other Albert Barkley; her sons, Brian (Brendene), Doug (Rachel) and Barry; her grandchildren, Blair (Ryann), Beth, Christopher (Amber), Kevin (Deborah) and Melissa (Steve); and her sister-in-law Shelagh Cabana (Denis) of Montreal.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, in Clara's memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation or Alzheimer Society of Canada.
