Arden Kevin Pashe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arden Kevin Pashe on August 6, 2022 at the Portage General Hospital surrounded with his family by his side.

Arden was loved and cherished by his family and is survived by his children, Teri (Jeff), Shaun (Chantel), Shianne (Cole), Travis (Brigette), Arden Jr (Danielle), Jaden, Grayson (Jenna), Connor, and Jada. His siblings: Keith, Trudy, Cornell (Cathy), Braden, Mary (Brian). His grandchildren: Hazel, Khloe, Skye, Shaylah, Aveah, Austin, Arden, Jacob, Jase, Ava, Jaxon, Sophie, Delilah, Kaden, Kamden, Kaid, Duke and his many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Bruce Pashe, Delores Pashe (Merrick), twin brothers: Barry & Garry Pashe, nephew; Sheldon Pashe and his niece; Roberta Daniels.

Arden was born on July 24, 1965 in Portage la Prairie. A gifted athlete at an early age Arden showed a passion for hockey and played goalie for many teams within the Portage area. Arden enjoyed golf, and many other sports. Arden loved to travel and enjoyed taking his family and friends on trips to explore and try new adventures. Arden was always quick witted, easy going and lived life to the fullest. Most of all Arden loved being a father, uncle, brother, grandfather (Papa). Arden centered his life around his siblings, children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren. He always made sure to care of everyone before he took of himself. Arden believed in his traditional ways and was a gifted Sundancer.

A traditional wake will be held at the Dakota Gaming Centre on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 7:00pm. Traditional services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Gaming Centre and burial will be at the Old Sioux Village.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Pashe, Trent Pashe, Kyle Pashe, Cory Ray Meeches, Evan Lilley, and Eric Pashe. Honorary pallbearers will be his family and friends.

A tree will be planted and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.
