He was predeceased by: his mother Jean Doris Baron (Ward); his half-siblings, Jewel and Trevor; and also Theresa Rennie. He is survived by: his children, Jeanna Emms (Anthony) of Portage, James Ward, Jurate Ward (Jeff), Rikki-Lee Sawler (Paul), Shane McIvor and Dallas McIvor of Winnipeg; his grandchildren, David (Marlena) of Selkirk, Joshua (Kisha), Angus of Portage, Alita, Dillion, Camilla, Cody, Roger and Tres of Winnipeg; his great grandchildren, Jennifer Ward, Johnny and Robbie; his brother Dewayne Ward; his sons, Ryan, Scott and Jeff of Victoria, BC; his brother Randy Baron of Portage; his uncle Pat (Jan) of Portage; his aunts, Barbs of Edmonton and Judy (Otis); his close friend Loriann; his son-in-law Anthony; his aunt Darlene; his uncle Ken; and his siblings, Leslie, Cathy and Kenny. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel (56 Royal Rd S, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N1T6).
