With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Adam Grant Woods (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George, Barbara Woods, Norman Yellowquill and Flora Houle; his father Grant Woods; and his siblings, Marjorie Woods, Kim Reeder and Dion.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Woods, Aaron Woods, Pejuta Demarc and Berdall Peters; his mother Liz Yellowquill; his siblings, Yolanda Woods of Winnipeg, Tracy Dandurand (Mark) of Surrey, BC, Cheney Woods (Crystal) of Winnipeg, Steve Woods of Winnipeg, Richard Yellowquill of Winnipeg and Robert Benoit of Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Karl Walker Woods and Aliah Smoke-Woods. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A wake was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
