He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie and Mona; his sister Sylvia McHugh; and his parents-in-law, Ken McDonald and Rawny McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Colleen (Garth) and Ian (Jeannette); his grandchildren, Jason, Ian, Sharon and Danton; and his great grandchildren, Maria, Sophia and Natalie.
