He was predeceased by: his parents, Morley Collins and Rosie (Sandercock); his sisters, Beatrice Seymour (Roy), Marjorie and Doreen Wilson (Bert); his son Arnold; and his wife Dorothy Howatt.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Collins and Sherman Collins (Velma); his daughter-in-law Elaine Collins (Guderian); his grandchildren, Anita Klassen Collins (Mel Wiebe), Tannis Collins (Ken Moffatt), Vonnie Collins (Greg Clayton), Chad Collins (Rhoda), Candace Olafson (Dale Hiebert), Todd Collins (Danna) and Matthew Collins (Larissa); his son Sherm; his siblings, Hawaii, Alaska, Yukon and Mississauga; and his nephews, Murray Seymour (Susan) and Morley Wilson (Bev). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and 25 nieces and nephews.
