She was predeceased by: her parents, James Duncombe and Harriet Duncombe (Dewing); her husband Gus; her granddaughter Christine Browton; her great grandchild Chase Mayes; her sisters, Kathleen McLean (Johnny) and Marion Purves (Jimmy); her brothers-in-law, Albert Widenmaier, Archie Thompson, Frank Jaskow, Arthur Browton (Joan) and Harry Browton (Gladys); and also, James Duncombe (Vi), Doug Duncombe (Norma), John Duncombe and Richard Duncombe.

She is survived by: her children, Raymond Browton (Dorothy) of Vancouver and Diane Mayes (Ron) of Pierson; her sisters, Mona Widenmaier, Phyliss Thompson and Jean Jaskow; her sister-in-law Barb Duncombe; and also, Colin Browton of Vancouver, Caroline Rivard (Mark), Troy Mayes (Rebecca) and Darren Mayes.
