John Hammell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2020, at the age of 92, John Hammell of Pierson, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl; his daughter Betty Hammell; his granddaughter Elizabeth Victoria Hammell; his parents, Tom Hammell and Veva Hammell; his sister Phyllis Shatford (Charlie); and his brothers-in-law, John Slessor, Harvey Moir and Chesley Moir.

He is survived by: his children, Tom (Pat) of Teulon, Jack (Lynda) of Pierson, Larry (Pat) of Pierson and Carol Gerow (Darcy) of Souris; his brother Ab Hammell (Eunice) of Brandon; and his sisters-in-law, Florence Slessor of Hartney and Sharon Moir of Melita. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
