She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Pitt and Doris Pitt; her husband Royden Holmes; and her sister Gail Dalziel. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Genest (Denis) and Craig Holmes (Angie); her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Clarke (Michael); her close friend Richard Hambly; and also, Karen (Charles), Laura (James), Matt (Holly) and Jody (Rob). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
