He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Florence; his brothers, Larry, Richard and Kelly; his brother-in-law Ivan; his father-in-law Edward; and his siblings-in-law, Brian, Laura, Colleen and Lana.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Nelson (Shea), Sheldon (Kaitlyn), Aaron, Eric and Kyle (Jenny); his grandchildren, Archer, Conan, Noah, Raye-Lyn, Alivia, Brendon (Rachel), Dallas, Kyle Jr., Kaylee, Patience, Tiana and Diamond; his great grandchildren, Declan, Renae and Renèe; his siblings, Garnet, Barry (Gayle), Elmer (Patricia), Gordie (Carrie), Dolly (Terry), Alma, Diane (Marvin), Linda, Gloria (Russell) and Betty Ann (Ron); and his mother-in-law Hilda. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
