He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. A. A. and Sarah Margaret Alford; and his siblings, Bob, Pal, Mac, Peg, Edna and Mer.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Kitchen; his friend Dunbar Decorators; his children, Lori Carpenter (Phil) and Stephen Alford; his grandchildren, Adam Carpenter (Chelsea McIvor), Matthew Carpenter, Alix Alford and Ajay Alford; and his great grandchildren, Reese and Nevaeh.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, a private family service will be held.
