He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Rick Jenken; and his son-in-law Rob Fournier. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Sandy (Dahlton), Jamie (Angie) and Arlene (Rick); his grandchildren, Jeannine (Jamie), Cody, Ryan, Colin and Ray (Nyla); his great grandchild Mariah (Joey); and his siblings, Helen Rygmyr of Florida and Larry Crossman (Judy) of Vancouver Island. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
