He was predeceased by: his wife Simone Gauthier; and his parents, Adelard and Celanire. He is survived by: his children, Rachelle Payne (Troy) and Remi; and the mother of his children Suzanne. He is also survived by two granddaughters; one great-grandson; three brothers and three sisters.
