Yvonne Grenier Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Grenier (Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba), who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Grenier; her parents, Raphaël Brichon and Alberta Brichon; her sons-in-law, Léo Delaquis and Grant Checkley; her grandson Kels Boulet; her great grandchild Alexander Grenier; her sisters, Lucienne Smith (Henry) and Claire Smith; and her in-laws, Louis Beauchemin, Charles "Smitty" Smith, Armand Grenier (Rita), Lucien Labossière and Arthur Labossière.

She is survived by: her children, Jules, Viviane Delaquis, Daniel "Salut", Charles (Roxanne), Mona Checkley and André (Denise); her grandchildren, Raphaël, Denis, Camille (Kim), Beau (Adam), Christelle (Chris), Danielle (Davis), Brittany (Mario), Douglas (Maggie), Ghislaine (Sam), Stephan (Taylor) and Shaylyn; her great grandchildren, Hector, Kaylyn (AJ), Kyle, Kensington, Axel, Vincent, Meili, Colt, Duke, Ivy and Ronan; her siblings, Irène Smith, Simone DeBeer (Tom), Léon Brichon (Alida) and André Brichon (Marlene); and her in-laws, Garth Dunham, Bruce Smith and Rachel Labossière. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Leon Roman Catholic Church. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Yvonne Grenier Funeral Service.
