He was predeceased by: his parents, Roméo Dion and Berthe Dion; his aunts and uncles, Roger Debreuil (Odile), Elizabeth Clermont (Sylvio), Camille Dion (Jeanne), Léonard Dion (Julienne), Estelle L'Heureux (Omer), Madeleine Philippe (Jean-Marie), Georges Dion (Marie), Ferdinand Dion, Robert Dion (Angèle), Isabelle Oliviero (Charles), Simone Dion and Jean Oliviero; and his cousin Jérôme Oliviero.

He is survived by: his sisters, Denise Dion (Jean-Marie Parvais) and Monique Dion (Joseph Binhas); his nieces, Katryne and Stéphanie; his nephew Philippe; and his aunts, Marie-Blanche Oliviero (Raymond Gobin) and Jeanne Dion. He is also survived by numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
