He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Robitaille and Evelyne Robitaille; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Robitaille. He is survived by: his daughter Marissa Robitaille (Blair Balog); his wife Barb LaDouceur-Robitaille; his stepson Ryan LaDouceur (Amanda); his stepgrandchild Brooklyn; his siblings, Yvette Gaultier (Marcel), Marcel Robitaille, Denise Robitaille and Diane Chabbert (Léo); and his nieces and nephews, Donald Gaultier (Shannon), Maurice Gaultier (Jeanette), Jean Gaultier, Cherilyne Pawluk (Josh), Daniel Robitaille (Nathalie), Sophie Robitaille, René Delaquis (Jennifer), Christine Delaquis, Chantal Chevalier (Kelsey) and Stéphan Chabbert (Mandie). He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Notre Dame Health Foundation.
