He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice DeGraeve and Irene DeGraeve; his siblings, Gerarda Devos (Marcel Cleutinx), Laurette VanCauwenberghe (George) and Laurence DeGraeve; his parents-in-law, Leo and Rose Nerynck; and his in-laws, George Devos, Duncan Callum, Lillian Nerynck, Simone Bednarz (Ken) and William Saunders.

He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Diana Talbot (Gerard), Randy DeGraeve (Diane), Barry "Smiley" DeGraeve (Susan), Michael DeGraeve and Lee DeGraeve; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Christopher), Nicole (Jeffery), Sabrina (Timothy), Jolene (Darcy), Christopher, Matthew, Cassandra (Brandon), Brendan (April), Kennedy, Payton (Dawson) and Merek; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Morgan, McKenna, Bryce, Colby, Myles, Karah, Dane, Grace and Milah; and his siblings-in-law, Claire DeGraeve, Yvonne Callum, Alice Saunders and Camille Nerynck. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jerry DeGraeve Funeral Service.
