She was predeceased by: her husband Leslie Gates; her daughter Cathy Gates; and her brothers, Ken (Elva) and Robert Leishman (Hazel). She is survived by: her children, Larry (Elaine), Grant (Lina), Bonnie, Betty Ann (Roger), Nancy, Brad (Lynn) and Lynda (Chris); and her siblings, Barry (Betty), June and Shelley (Adrian). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
