It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fred Kaita of Niverville, Manitoba, born in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, who passed away on May 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathy; his wife Edna; his parents, Sukeichi and Kameyo; and his siblings, Sonoye, Mary and Reiki.

He is survived by: his children, Percy (Betty), Perry (Melanie), Cheryl (Scott) and Karen (Norman); and his grandchildren, Melissa (Mike), Matthew (Lauren), Braeden, Bryson, Madison (Graeme), Michael (Lindsey), Katrina and Daniel.

I admired him in so many ways, not the least was his gentle devotion and friendship for the whole family enterprises and indeed all of Niverville. Sons, daughters, and grandchildren you stand on a Giant’s shoulders.
