He was predeceased by: his mother Yvonne Smith; his parents-in-law, Frank and Jean Clisby; his brother Don; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Clisby and Boyd O'Halloran.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sons, Derek of Belmont, Charlie (Andrea) of Dunrea, Adam of Ninette, Kevin (Tara) of Ninette and James of Ninette; his grandchildren, Hunter, Kyle, Tyler, Amora, Alexander and Lilith; his father Nelson Smith of Wawanesa; his siblings, Philip Smith of Ninette, Charles Smith (Carrie) of Ninette, Judi Hattersley (Steve) of Minnedosa and Veronica Johnston (Cory) of Minnedosa; and his parents-in-law, Ken Clisby (Deb) of Brandon and Diane O'Halloran of Brandon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & extended family.
