It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georges Bruneau (Morris, Manitoba), who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludger Bruneau and Angélina Bruneau; and his granddaughter Christine Bruneau. He is survived by: his wife Célima; his children, Marc (Monique), Gaston, Georgette (Henri Dupuis), Pauline Bruneau (Olivier Gareau) and David (Danielle); his grandchildren, Philippe Bruneau (Jill), Rachelle (Karl Nato), Mélanie (Josh Furlan), Sarah Bruneau (Darnell Gordon), Anthony Bruneau (Kayla Pappel), Éric Dupuis (Christine), Gabrielle Dupuis, Muriel Dupuis (Rahim Limam), Martin Dupuis, Bastien Alberola, Paul Alberola, Alana (Glen Munholland), Rylee Bruneau (Preston Phillips) and Olivia Bruneau; his great grandchildren, Miles Bruneau, Justin, Eric Nato, Madison, Derek Furlan, Braxton Gordon, Frédéric, Élodie Dupuis and Grace Munholland; his sisters, Rose-Marie (Roger Brémault) and Anne-Marie (Richard Roy); and his sisters-in-law, Irène Bruneau and Léola Parent.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Jean-Baptiste Catholic Church (153 Caron St, Saint Jean Baptiste, MB R0G2B0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the St. Jean Cenntenial Hall (203 Caron St, Saint Jean Baptiste, MB R0G0A3).
