He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; his parents, John and Susanna; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, John (Mary-Ann), Pete (Tina), Benjamin (Nettie), George (Mary), Susan (Mike) and Neil (Steph). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
