He was predeceased by: his daughter Chantel; his parents, Jacob Penner and Agatha Penner; his siblings, Mary Martens (Bill), Willy Penner, Jake Penner (Evelyn) and Edward Penner; and his brother-in-law John Dyck.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Laval (Pam) and Shannon Edel (Darryl); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler (Amy), Natasha (Ryan), Gena (Stanley) and Karly; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Arlo; his siblings, Anne Dyck and Harry Penner; and his sister-in-law Emmy Penner.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Northern Canada Evangelical Mission.
