She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Lechner and Mary Lechner; her husband Doug Alsop; her son Greg; and her siblings, Albert, Jack, Leo, Clarence and Edna.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne and James; and her grandchildren, Philip, Karla, Becky, Jessica, Cristin, Tracy and Allie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irene's memory to the Morden Activity Centre or the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
