She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McElroy (Bob) and Verna McElroy of Darlingford. She is survived by: her husband Mel Johnston (Mel) of Mowbray, Manitoba.; her children, Tracy (Blaine Vestby), Julie (Jeff Smyth) and Jason (Traci Johnston); her siblings, Mavis (Greg Scharf), Darrell (Lori McElroy) and Brian (Myra McElroy); and her grandchildren, Camryn, Avery Vestby, Riley Johnston (Lauryn), Krina Hoeppner (Noah), Nate and Chase Smyth.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Chapel - Morden (1050 Thornhill St, Morden, MB R6M1J9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Manitou Opera House.
