She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Booker and Elyda Booker; her former husband Tony Fijala of Darlingford; her son Dennis; her husband Ben Hemminger; and her sister Jean Lovell.

She is survived by: her son Ron Fijala; her grandson Tony Fijala (Susie); her children, Sharon Tremeer (Bob) and Mark Fijala (Alison); her granddaughter Melanie Burns (Jarett); her son Doug Fijala (Debbie); her grandson Danny Fijala (Amber); her daughter Tiffany Ching (Eric); her sister Reita Thomson; and also, Owen Fijala (Hailey), Cora McLeod (Brad), Erica Fijala, Adley Fijala, Daxton Fijala, Kiana Chaboyer, Payton Ching, Paisley Ching, Remington Ching and Elliana Fijala. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
