He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Wiebe and Lizzie Wiebe. He is survived by: his wife Sara; and his children, Barbara (Isaac Grable), Catherine, Sara, Daniel (Pamela Wieb) and James. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one sister.
