She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Friesen and Anna Friesen; her husband Dave Peters; and her brothers, Dave and Isaac.

She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Ken Peters (Brenda), Kim Suski, Trish Klotz (Simon), Jen, Barb Bluhm (Larry), Leanne, Travis, Amber, Ron Peters (Betty), Brad (Holly), Sydney, Elin, Isla, Charlotte, Byron (Carrie), Harlow, Christal Hildebrand (Jason), Lennon, Verna Neufeld (Cliff), Quinn May (Benjamin) and Chase (Maureen); and her sister Helen Gerbrand (Henry). She is also survived by her four children, 11 grandchildren.
