He was predeceased by: his former wife Gertruda (Trudie); and his mother Katharina. He is survived by: his wife Katharina (Tina); his children, Elmer, Ewald and Naemi (Amy); his grandchildren, Austin, Kairi, Tobi and Jazmyn; his father Cornelios; his siblings, Jakob, Willhelm, Hein, Peter, Katharina, Anna, Lena, Liese, Wanda, Bertha and Martha; his former wife Trudie; and his granddaughter Amy. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
