He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Thompson and Audrey Thompson; his father-in-law Jack Freeman; and his sister-in-law Cathy Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Barb (Freeman); his children, Jana-Lee Golinski (Rob) and Lance Thompson (Mallory); his grandchildren, Theo, Ladd, Brielle, Lexa and Remi; his siblings, Doug Thompson, Deb Alexander (Daryl), Ron Thompson (Charlene), Shawn Thompson (Tracy) and Calvin Thompson (Tammy); his mother-in-law Donna Freeman; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Freeman, Barry Freeman and Jacquie Stamp (Laurie).
