He was predeceased by: his wife Della (Billings); his siblings, Jean Sterling, Gordon Lee and Allan Lee; and his brothers-in-law, Pat Sterling, Art Tucker and Billings.

He is survived by: his children, Brian (Shannon) and Beth Smith (Paul); his grandchildren, Stephen and Jennifer (Donovan); his daughter Sharon Penner (Paul); his grandchildren, April and Justin (Brenda); his daughter Joyce Davies (Murray); his grandchildren, Brock (Breena), Jared and JaysaLee; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Tom, Beth, Kate, David, Julian, Francis and Kesler; his sister Gwen Tucker; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Lee and Barbara Lee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
