Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Nelson Shannon of Melita, Manitoba, who passed away at the age of 99, on October 21, 2022. He was predeceased by: his wife Devona; his son Matthew Shannon; his grandson Dallas Shannon; his parents, William Shannon and Eliza Shannon (Gibson); and his siblings, Emily Nichols (Hap), Margaret Buckingham (Phil) and Don Shannon.
He is survived by: his children, Darryl Shannon (Wendy), Eunice Currie (Larry), Frank Shannon (Shirley), Wanda Currie (Terry), Sheila Boulton (Brian), Chris Shannon (Penny) and Arlene Lew. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
