He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Whitcher and Daisy Whitcher (Baillie); his brothers, Albert, Jim and Edward "Ted" Whitcher; and his brother-in-law Hayward Gould.
He is survived by: his sister Florence Gould of Melita.
